MECOP Students
ATI Wah Chang increases its level of engineering and other professional services through participation in a unique industry-university internship Multiple Engineering Cooperative Program (MECOP).
MECOP is funded and driven by over fifty Oregon-based primarily manufacturing companies ranging from metals and aerospace to high tech and light manufacturing.
ATI Wah Chang accomplishes value-add projects by increasing its level of engineering and professional talent from utilizing these industry-screened junior and senior level engineering and professional students in the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Management Information Systems.
MECOP will continue to provide a vital part of the strategies for sustained and profitable growth for ATI Wah Chang throughout the foreseeable future.
CWE (Cooperative Work Experience) Students
Cooperative Work Experience provides students with the opportunity to earn credits for working or volunteering in a job related to a specific program of study.
Allowing students the opportunity to explore an occupation, gain work experience, make professional contacts and apply classroom knowledge to work-place settings. Students interested in the CWE program should apply through LBCC or OSU CWE programs.
