ATI 425® Alloy (Titanium Grade 38)
Now there’s a titanium alloy that combines strength comparable to Ti-6Al-4V (6-4 titanium) with improved workability, higher ductility and availability as continuous sheet, thus providing tighter gauge tolerances and more consistent surface finish. Stronger than CP grades and more formable than 6-4 titanium, ATI 425® Alloy (Titanium Grade 38) hits the sweet spot in strength, finish and workability for a broad range of applications - and will change the way you think about designing with titanium.
With its production process now certified to the AMS 6946 standard, and MMPDS design allowables for commercial aerospace design, this material is ready to deliver a whole new performance profile for aerospace, defense and industrial applications. Read our product specifications page for more details, or the download the ATI 425® Alloy data sheet (see Product Documents in right column) for complete information.
